The Moment Deworming Got Real
SPEAKER_01Listen, I have done some pretty crazy things now in my life, but I've never dewormed myself. Right, right. I'm gonna buy it. I'm gonna buy this. I'm gonna see what happens. Uh-huh. And within three days, I saw round worm flukes and pinworms in the toilet and a pain that I had on my right side that indicated it was time for me to have surgery. It never has come back.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_01And I knew right then this was, well, at the time, I thought this was my root cause, but it was just one of my root causes. But it opened up this ability for me to understand my body better. It removed brain fog. It removed pain. It removed doubt because it validated, it validated what I felt, it validated what I saw. It validated how I feel,

Meet Kim Rogers The Worm Queen
SPEAKER_02Hello and welcome to the podcast. Today I'm very excited to have Kim Rogers, widely known online as the Worm Queen. She is the founder and CEO of Rogers Hood Apothecary and the creator of the Paraphy Parasite Cleanse Kit. And after decades of navigating chronic health challenges, including Lyme disease, endometriosis, mold exposure, and ongoing illness, Kim began publicly sharing her personal experience with herbal cleansing. A video documenting her parasite cleansing journey went viral, leading her to build a large online community focused on self-advocacy, wellness education, and natural health practices. She's married and her husband's been a big piece of this journey. So welcome, Kim. Thanks for having me. I'm so excited to be here. Yeah. And uh we were just talking before we went live here about your new challenges you're facing. But before we dive into that, let's let's go back and tell us a little bit about your story, especially about the viral TikTok video and how you I'm just really grateful I got a crown and I'm called the worm queen instead of the worm lady.
SPEAKER_01That's my my every podcast joke, but it's true. It's not fun. It's not fun to be the worm lady. I mean, you gotta have some laugh from this because it really is somewhat serious, but also somewhat like comical that even someone as smart as me didn't even know this was something that could have been one of my root causes, and that I didn't have enough sovereignty over my health to really understand before I went and had a surgery or 13, you know? And so it really helped me feel less um bad about my decisions too. I have zero regret of what I've decided for my own personal health because I was able to have so much knowledge and information to figure all of this out for me. So I come from Western medicine. I've been in Western medicine since 2004. I hold two healthcare degrees. I uh was valivictorian in both of those degrees. I then worked in the field for over a decade and I decided to go into academia. So I helped and build 25 healthcare colleges across the United States. I wrote their curriculum and I also authored books to help with that curriculum. And then just for funsies, I wrote books with big publishing companies and I served on medical advisory boards. I was a speaker for national certifications. And so overall, the last 20 years of my medical career, I've really been dedicated to understanding the human body, except for my own. And so in my own personal journey, I had stage four endometriosis. I had a hysterectomy when I was 29 years old, and I had 13 surgeries. And I didn't have anybody navigating anything with me to have me understand that maybe these things could have been an environmental toxin issue, which now I do know it was. And so I really feel like this is a topic that should be discussed even further before you make any life-altering events or you take a label on that might not really be your label, right? Because it's important for us to understand our bodies and that parasites, worms, mold, lime can play a big factor in what's going on with our symptoms. And so I really learned a lot over the last five years about my own body that now I just talk about it for other people to have that knowledge.
SPEAKER_02So you had already spent so many years in healthcare and in healthcare academia, and you were already so knowledgeable, but this worm thing, tell us about how long ago did that happen? Five years.
The Viral TikTok And First Cleanse
SPEAKER_02Five years ago.
SPEAKER_01Five years ago is when I found out I had it. But I mean, because of this, I've been able to actually go back to before I was born and actually dissect because I have my medical records since I was from the military. My dad was a colonel in nuclear missiles. And when you leave the military, they give you your records. And so when I figured out I had worms, and we'll talk about my viral journey. Um, I then stopped everything I thought I knew and I relearned everything I didn't know. Right. And so it was really a puzzle piece that I had to put together in order for me to determine what else was wrong with me. It wasn't just the worms. Okay.
SPEAKER_02So, first of all, I'm sure everyone's dying to know and they're all gonna look it up, but describe the viral TikTok video first, and then we'll we'll lead up to what made you even do it, do a cleanse or anything.
SPEAKER_01So on July 18th of 2021, I grabbed my phone. Well, I've talked about this every day since July 18th of 21. I've never taken a day off. I've talked about it, I've done videos about it, I've emailed about it, like there hasn't been a day. So I had saw a gal on TikTok a few weeks before who said she almost unalived herself over worms. And I was on my own health journey at that point in time in 2019. My husband and I quit our careers, we sold everything, and we moved out to a piece of property we had purchased to retire on. And I was in such bad shape that we were actually getting our affairs in order. And so it was I was very, very ill. I have before and after pictures that are pretty wild that doesn't even look like me. I'll show that in a second. Um, so we just knew that I wasn't in good shape. And at this point, I had pretty much been abandoned by Western medicine. And so they fully abandoned me in January of 21. And so it really was at a point that we just didn't know what else to do. I had already had all these surgeries. My doctors told me I can't have any more. I was so, so ill. And so we spent a good year and a half really focusing on getting me off of Big Pharma so I could get a good baseline and figure out what was going on. We grew mushrooms. I learned about ammonita. She helped save my brain. It's why I celebrate her every day. And so I what's what's ammonita?
Amanita And Stepping Off Meds
SPEAKER_01Amanita is Amanita mascara is a non-active, so you won't hallucinate when you take ammonita, but she has active properties like muscomolin ibotenic acid, and you can break her down to make that. Most people just think she's poisonous and she's gonna hurt you only if you eat her raw, she'll she'll make you have like stomach pains. But you there's a certain way you can break her down in a pharmaceutical sense, and it actually helps make muscomolin ibotenic acid, which is very similar structure to benzodiazepine, which I was on colanopin for 22 years, and you can't just get off of it. And so I was looking for natural ways for me to step off of my colanapin so I could get a better idea of what was going on in my body versus continuing to stay on a medication that I was having really bad side effects. Okay. And I didn't know what else was going on in my body at the time because I was on so many pharmaceuticals that I really needed to be like, what is happening? Is this movement from a worm, or is this movement because of something going on in my body beyond what I now know was really going on? And so I just worked really hard, but I still wasn't at the point I wanted to be at with my health, even getting off my pharmaceuticals, taking a ton of mushrooms, and really cleaning up my diet. I do want to preface that years before I was a snowboarder, I was a roller derby girl, I ate really clean, and I had one moment in my life in 2016 that totally took me down. I lost three grandparents and um my mom had the big C. And so there were these moments in my life that then lowered my frequency, caused me to be, and I was living in mold, unknowing. So with all that said, in 2021, I came across a gal's video that said I almost unalived myself over worms and it stopped me in my track. And I thought, wait a minute, a few years before I thought I had worms, my doctors gaslit me, told me there's no way you live in a first world country, you haven't been out of the country lately, Kim. But I'd been out of the country a lot. I worked for an airline for my medicine. And so it's like, I don't know. But then just like everyone else, there wasn't a solution. I didn't know where to go. I put my head in the sand and I totally just moved past it, right? So when she said that she took this $30 uh tincture from Amazon and she ended up seeing worms in the toilet, I was like, listen, I have done some pretty crazy things now in my life, but I've never dewormed myself. Right, right. I'm gonna buy it. I'm gonna buy this, I'm gonna see what happens. Uh-huh. And within three days, I saw round worm flukes and pinworms in the toilet and a pain that I had on my right side that indicated it was time for me to have surgery. It never has come back.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_01And I knew right then this was well, at the time I thought this was my root cause, but it was just one of my root causes. But it opened up this ability for me to understand my body better. It removed brain fog, it removed pain, it removed doubt because it validated, it validated what I felt, it validated what I saw, it validated how I feel, all of it. And I looked in there and I was like, I'm grabbing my phone. I have got to tell everybody about what just happened because why not?
SPEAKER_00I have a little following, it's not gonna go anywhere, right?
SPEAKER_01I'm talking about mushrooms. I'm heavily censored. I've been heavily censored for five years, but I was heavily censored and I was showing people my log home build and my mushrooms. And so I'm like, okay, we got this. Cool, man. We got this. And I grabbed my phone and I did a 60-second video. It went so viral. In two hours, a million people watched it, and I gained 200,000 followers overnight.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_01And at any given time, I would have 40, 50 million views a month over on TikTok. And people just started flooding information into me. Just this is what you have to do. This is what I do. I D worm. What did you see? I mean, it was a movement in that moment. So it's a it's a whole subculture. Yes, it sounds like a whole thing because we don't know, right? We don't know, and people are curious and they have worms, and you know, there's a lot of symptoms out there that we don't discuss, like anemia is a hookworm, and the history of Western medicine in the hookworm is pretty wild, and how it almost unalived the southerners and people were dying of hookworm in the 20s because of the lack of knowledge. Right. And so it really is a big thing that has not necessarily been hidden, just not discussed, and because in medical professionals, we're not allowed to go outside of our box. Right. And it's been taken out of some of our books, right? The education books that I helped write.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01I even said a few times, this country doesn't have worms. We don't need to have this much in those educational books. Like I remember it. And so looking back on my professional level and my personal level, I'm like, oh, I can see how this has really gotten out of hand of us talking about it.
SPEAKER_02So everybody listening is scared to death now and needs to go home and look in
How Parasite Exposure Happens
SPEAKER_02the toilet. But can you tell us how one might become exposed to worms?
SPEAKER_01Yes, we're exposed every day. Um the goal to doing a cleanse, just so everyone knows, so that it's a little more normal. The goal is to assist with the overgrowth, which is when your symptoms appear, right? And so just like Candida, we have an overgrowth of yeast in our body. And when that becomes to the point where you're craving sugar and you're having skin issues, that's a parasite. Anything that feeds off the host, that's the definition of a parasite. So now you got to go in and help mitigate that. And that's what we're doing here. We realize that there's a possibility that when you eat sushi, when you eat salmon, when you have pets, when you drink the water specifically in the United States, because my water was contaminated from them from all of this. I had my water tested both in Hoodsport where this all started, and then we had to move to Seattle. Both tested positive for nematodes. Our country doesn't test our water for nematodes, so that's a big thing. All of the ways we can be exposed on a daily basis just mean that you're creating more of an environmental toxin in your body and you're not allowing your body to move them out because you're not assisting it or you're so overflowing with toxins because your buckets just spilled over that you have no way of moving them out. And so when I started researching and looking into this, other countries deworm, other countries like Mexico, they arm their citizens with knowledge, they allow them to go to the pharmacy and buy an antiparasitic synthetic. Jamaica, they take a tea called the bush, it's a herb tea. Um, you've got Nigeria, they can go to the pharmacy and get an antiparasitic and they take it with sugar. So they're aware that these things, that this crazy parasite journey for us in Western medicine is a normal way of life for them. It's just not for us. And so to flip the script in your mind, we're just doing cleanses in order for us to assist with the overgrowth, which creates the symptoms. So are we talking about dewormers like ivermectin? I mean, that's an antiparasitic. That's a big pharma med. So you've got menbendazole, fenbendazole, ivor, uh, pro prosquill, which is like for tapeworms. Like those things are necessary, but it's a frequency of just what it's going to target. So something like when you take ivor, it's only targeting specific nematodes, but it actually creates a bigger issue because it doesn't target pinworms. So now you've just moved all of the pinworm's friends and competition. And guess what's now going to overgrow in your body? And so you have to be conscientious that when you do all of these antiparasitics that are readily available for us as well, that you follow up. Like there's I have a pharmacy that I work with where they do the synthetics with my kit in order for you to have a really great cleanse. Because we're like a Z Pac. Parapy Parasite Cleanse through Rogers Hood is a Z Pack. I've gone in and realized the general parasites that we all have in our bodies. And I've utilized things like Oregon Grape Root with wormwood, but then also helping remove heavy metals with cilantro, which weight them down, but you also have to break the biofilm. So it's a systematic setup that you have to go in and break that biofilm. Now, when you use an antiparasitic, it's going in and targeting. Now, what if you don't have what it's needing to target? You've kind of done something in your body, and that's also problematic for us because we don't have good testing in the United States.
SPEAKER_02That's that was my next question. It's terrible. Okay. So stool testing doesn't always give us the information we think it gives us.
SPEAKER_01Right. Because you're only testing a snapshot of your stool on that day. And the part that's the hardest is they're in our blood, our tissue, and our muscle. They're not just in our gut. Okay. And they are aware, right? They're aware of us talking right now. They're a frequency inside of our body. They're an alive frequency that has tapped into your nervous system, reading you bad and feeding you bad code. They want you to be in a low frequency and a low vibration in order for them to thrive. And so when you start talking about them or you start thinking about them, or even crazy enough, I had I sent a dude in Ecuador. We did a documentary, and I sent him a kit, and his wife was very skeptical and he was not. And he had a two-year-old and a dog. And so it took a month to get his kit to him in Ecuador. He had no idea it was arriving that day. He woke up with his wife who was like, Hey, when when are those kits gonna come? And he was like, I'm not sure. He goes out, he goes out into his living room, the dog pooped some worms, the door knocked, the kits arrived, and then five minutes later, his daughter pooped in the corner some worms. Oh my god. And his wife goes, The kits are here, right? She was so skeptical before this that this was really a thing that she was like, When are those kids gonna get here? And he was like, I'm not sure. Knock, knock, knock, walks out, sees the worms in the stool, and she was like, This is nuts.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's just, it's just because we just didn't know. You know what I mean? Like that's really where we're at. I didn't know. Once I found out though, I won't shut up about it.
SPEAKER_02Right. I love that. So give us some indications that our host, ourselves, our bodies, are not fighting, they're not in fighting shape.
Symptoms And Why Hosts Get Vulnerable
SPEAKER_02Like, what makes us a very vulnerable host?
SPEAKER_01Well, I'm gonna show you the picture of me before I forget because it really is pretty mind-blowing, even to this day. When I look at it for myself, I am just kind of shocked that wow.
SPEAKER_02So that was 2020.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so you look thinner in 2026.
SPEAKER_01Yep. I wasn't pooping. I mean, that was a really big issue. I hadn't pooped in a month, maybe like a pellet, but it wasn't like a solid. I was just so bloated. Um, I had terrible insomnia. Again, all of these are symptoms of a parasite. I had terrible insomnia from age 12 to around 42. And I actually went to college at night because I couldn't sleep. That's when I got my degrees. I worked 80 hours a week and then I would go to get my I got my second degree at nighttime and I would sleep a few hours, but I could never sleep. I had terrible itchy butt. My flares were always during the full moon. And so when I was able to eject from what my husband and I laugh about, the matrix, we ejected ourselves from the matrix for a few years and went out to figure out what was going on with my body. I started marking on the calendar when my flares were. And the few years I thought I had worms before, I read, you know, you could have flares during the full moon. And so that really stuck with me. Describe what a flare is, just in case someone doesn't know. Um grinding your teeth is a big indication you have a parasite up all night long, so having severe insomnia. They're nocturnal creatures, so they wake up around 7 p.m. and then they feed. And so you're eating and you're craving sugar, and mine like salt. So when I'm in like a deep salt craving, like I am right now, I am on my kit because I don't want to continue to eat salt late at night because feeding them, I'm not really feeding myself. Yeah. And so those are big indications that you could have a parasite itchy, like itchy hands and itchy feet is an indication. That's when they're going through a cycle, okay. Smelling like ammonia because that's they're peeing and pooping in your body and huge skin issues. So on my skin, I have great skin. I had good skin before my I know when all of this kind of took hold was in 2016. And so I had really good skin, but I couldn't get my skin under control from like 2017 until around 2022 when my skin started to really like come back because whatever was going on inside of me, which we know we now know, was coming out externally as well. And that's usually a good 30 to 60 day range, whatever is going on inside, it takes that long to start to move out of your body. And so that stuff was in me for a while. I couldn't lose any weight, no matter how hard I tried, no matter how much I starved myself, I couldn't lose any weight. And if I did eat, it was I was bloated immediately, which in my world with endometriosis, they call that endobelly, which is kind of a cruel disease. You can't get pregnant, but you look pregnant all the time. Yeah, that's not fair at all. It's really not, it's really, it's really a cruel situation to be in. And now I know it wasn't just endometriosis. I actually had parasites, mold, and Lyme. And I had Lyme since I was 12, undiagnosed for 30 years.
SPEAKER_02And so you just remember being bitten by a ticket that early on.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And then I have my medical records because I was in the military. My dad was in the military, so I was a military kid. But yeah, I mean, I was misdiagnosed. So looking back, I never needed a hysterectomy. I didn't I needed to cleanse, I needed to not get put on medications, I needed to, my behavior changed immediately. I didn't need to be put on benzodiazepine right away. Right. You know, there were things looking back, and my family's aware of all of this now. I had no contact with my family when all this was happening, too, because my mental health was so bad that I just couldn't handle having anyone around me. And so those are really big indications that you got something else going on, more than just what a label is being given to you by Western medicine. And so looking back now, I know I had mold in my body from when I was born. And then being bit by that lime really, or that tick getting me lime really did change who I was as a human. And 30 years ago, who knows? They didn't know anything about it.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_01And so looking at it in a bigger picture, it's like, well, why not give something a try that potentially could help you understand what's going on in your body, even if it's not the answer. And so that's what I really push more than fear-mongering about worms or Rogers Hood and the Parapy Kit. It's really having a full understanding of your health so that you can go into your doctor and have your own patient advocacy and being like, I'm sovereign, like I understand what's going on with my health. And I just need you to help navigate it with me. I think that's been taken away from us since Western medicine has stepped in. And that's the part that's like the most important to me.
SPEAKER_02I think most people might know they have worms if they have perianal itching at night and things like that. But that's the only symptom they might be thinking is the problem. Maybe a little bit of bloating. But and honestly, before I met you, I didn't I didn't think about really think through all the other symptoms that it affects. Because we just think it's normal, right? Right. Yeah. Yeah. It's normal to feel like crap.
SPEAKER_01It's not it's and the funny thing is your body wants to heal itself. And I am a hundred percent proof of that. A hundred percent. I'm dying in the woods in 2019. It's 2026, and I'm running a multimillion dollar parasite cleansing company with 45 employees because I'm so dedicated and addicted to feeling good and understanding my body. I never understood my body like I thought I did. Yeah, I really thought that I knew. And you know, I hate to say, oh, I was a know it all, but I really thought I knew my own body. And this just rocked my world. It just rocked my world. That's how I'm able to hold everyone else's hand while I'm rocking their world. Because even down to the fact that anemia is from a hookworm, and there's so many doctors that talk about that because the hookworm lays on the side of your vein and absorbs all your iron. And people in the South from 1909 to 1924 were dying from hookworm. And they had to step in and they had to create the Western medicine medical system in order for them to fully understand that the overflowing outhouses that had poop coming down into their fields and they're roaming around barefoot and their animals are eating it, and then they're eating their animals. That's what's causing them to have hoopworm.
SPEAKER_02And so that was my that was my question. Walking around barefoot outside is that that's another risk factor.
SPEAKER_01It really is. They're in our dirt. Having a pet is a risk factor. You gotta deworm your animals.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Especially if you have a dog, I recommend doing something like safeguard once a month. You just put the powder in their food and you're just safeguarding them, just like you need to deworm yourself, just like you need to deworm your animals because they're out there roaming around, eating poop, licking their butt, drinking out of puddles. My dog had crypto and roundworm, and I got crypto and roundworm. Wow.
Mission Driven Growth And Censorship
SPEAKER_02So tell us the progression once you once your video went viral and you realized how much better you felt and your symptoms disappeared. Tell us the progression of going through that to realizing this is your mission in life and creating your Rogers Hood apothecary. Just walk us through that.
SPEAKER_01It was like the moment I went viral. There was a I I had spent a year and a half really internal doing mushrooms and figuring it all out and getting downloads from the universe. And it sounds so crazy. I really wouldn't believe it if I heard me talking. And a lot of the stuff I say, I wouldn't believe it. Most of it's on film. So I can go back when I start to gaslight myself. But I, you know, I cried out to the universe and I said, if you can make it, if you can help me get through this, I will make sure that whatever happens to me, that I will share my knowledge to the best of my ability if I'm ever given the opportunity. And so I I felt like in the moment that that video went viral, my husband looked at me and said, take it down. And I'm like, no, are you kidding me right now? Like all my friends were going viral because I'd been on TikTok since 2019. And you know, you go on platforms to hopefully have some sort of like not virality like what I have, but some sort of like community and following. And I mean, I'm chronically ill. I'm living in the woods by myself. I really wanted a community. I mean, I really was I really was alone out there, okay? Like I love my husband, he's a quiet man. And so I'm like, Yeah, I'm like, okay, I, you know, and it was 2020 and I lived in Washington, and I wasn't subscribing to that agenda. So I really was alone because I wasn't gonna follow what they wanted me to follow out there, and I was dying in the woods. So I'm like, okay, I'm gonna make this TikTok account and I'm just gonna hang out and just make some friends, right? Yeah. And so when it started hitting, and my husband's like, take it down. I'm all no, no way. He goes, Well, I don't want the news here. I'm like, Jeremy, we're talking about worms. The news isn't coming ever. Right, right. They never did, they never have. My friend who did like he crochets for PTSD. He was on Kelly Clarkson, the news came to his house, and I'm like, that's not gonna happen to us, Jeremy.
SPEAKER_00Like, right, right.
SPEAKER_01So immediately I started making videos, and I just started to like research and understand and go down the wormhole and start opening up cans of worms everywhere. And I just like, this is it. Like it immediately was like, Kim, this is your mission. This is what you cried out for. You wanted me to show you what your way should be. And so it went on for around three months before I was crowned the worm queen. I think at one point it might have been around the end of August, so a month and a half. I said, I don't want to be the worm lady. Can we pick a different name for me? Like as a community, what would you guys say? And they said the worm queen. And I was like, let's drop the DA, let's just say the worm queen. Uh-huh. And I am happy to be your worm queen. And so it just kind of went from there. I mean, everybody that comes around, it's fun and it breaks the ice. You know, I was standing in a group of businessmen a couple of weeks ago, and I walked up and I go, Hi, my name's Kim. I'm the worm queen. And they all just stopped.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01But I'm like, Yeah, yeah, yeah. I talk about worms, parasites. I have my own parasite cleanse. Uh-huh. Like, I run a huge business, and they're all looking at me. I'm like, that's right. You have worms.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. And they're like, so I have a solution for it. I have a kit for it. And what we were talking about before we started today, yeah. Was you are at the point now where so many people have jumped on this story and and been helped by you that you have been censored and you have been stolen from. And so that's when you know you've hit it big, I guess.
SPEAKER_00Is unfortunately. As I'm like going through like before before my day, I was like crying earlier. I'm just gonna remind myself when I start to cry. I'm like, You did it, Kim! You did it!
SPEAKER_02You finally made it.
SPEAKER_00As I'm bawling hysterically. Right, right. I'm like trying to figure it all out. I'm like, oh, I did it. Okay, cool.
SPEAKER_02Yes, yeah. I think anytime there's massive success, there's people are gonna come after you.
SPEAKER_01I'm really grateful. I really am grateful. I just think that it's been pushing a boulder up a hill against a machine that doesn't want us to talk about these things, which is so crazy to me. It's so crazy because I left working in urgent care because I didn't want to work with parasites and worms and scabies and lice, and because the definition of a parasite is anything that feeds off a host. Sure. And so you've got multiple different types of parasites, protozoas, nematodes. So I left working in urgent care because I don't like worms and I don't like, I love them now because I look at them all day and I'm trying to help people heal. But like to me, it's crazy that it's such a large topic like this and it's such a taboo, such a censored topic because it's a normal thing for the human body, it's a normal thing for animals. We are an animal, we're a warm-blooded animal. And so this is just normal. Like we were talking right before we started recording. So am I not allowed, if I come out and I say I have atomiosis or I have Alzheimer's, am I not allowed to say that? Like I had parasites, I had mold, I had Lyme, like I have diagnoses. Like this is me sharing my story. And I just happen to know how to make herbs in a compounded form in order for people to be able to understand the body and understand how to move them out of our bodies. It's crazy to me. It's crazy to me that big tech can be so overreaching to us. It's crazy to me. So much overreaching that, and this my community knows this. They took us off Stripe after four and a half years, which was our payment processing platform, totally derailed us, removed all of our subscribers. We dropped 20,000 email subscribers. Like the way that they can come in and strategically attack a business or strategically attack you as a content creator or as just as a human, talking about my own experience is pretty crazy. And they're making it worse for themselves. If they just let us talk about the things that we really should be talking about, things like worms that are in our sushi, worms that are in our salmon, worms that are in all fish. It's really there, in my opinion, it's making it worse by not just letting us understand, like other countries understand, right? So they're keeping us in a bubble of repetitive issues because they won't allow us. And now, now, really, I mean, I would say in the last month, it's been the worst. June was real, real bad. And then I was really sick at the beginning of the year, so I didn't do a lot of this podcast. I mean, I do like two to three a day. Wow. Just because this is so important. I mean, I spend six, seven hours a day podcasting with people to get this word out. I mean, it's I'm I my family and friends say you're a machine. Well, I'm a machine trying to teach people something that's really important that almost killed me. And that's really important to me. Well, sure. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So tell us tell us more about your uh apothecary. Yeah.
Building An Apothecary With Transparency
SPEAKER_01Rogers Hood. Welcome to my hood. We talk about worms, mold, parasites, all those creepy things in my hood, mushrooms. I really have enjoyed creating this apothecary and how I was able to turn my pain into power for other people. We actually have two different manufacturing facilities. They're four blocks away. We started out at 175 square feet in my business partner who lives in Jonesboro, Arkansas's backyard. And uh within like six months, we ran out of space. And then we found by the luck of the universe, just dropped it literally into our lap. We had we found two and a half acres with like this old building that they just threw up that had a garage and then like a two-bedroom on the side, and it was perfect for us. So we bought that and then we moved into there. We started producing even more. And then about six months into that, we had to add a thousand square feet onto it because we grew out of the 2,400 square feet. So now we're at 400 square feet. And then we grew out of that a year later, and so we broke ground on three and a half acres of land four blocks away, and we built a 10,000 square foot manufacturing facility that I did custom that my husband and I did custom. We have brokered machines over from China. We have had tailor fit bottle filling machines. We really put a lot of effort into sourcing our herbs. And last week we finished our audit for GMP certification, which is good manufacturing practices. We've always followed them. But now the FDA will recognize us. We will never be approved because we're supplements, but the FDA has will have to recognize us as well as allow us to go into stores, stay on Amazon because Amazon at the beginning of the year, which they should, by the way, they should make all companies provide a CGMP. They should make us all. I am giving a product to the consumer that you're ingesting, and you should know transparency of everything that goes on in my manufacturing facility. It's what made me start Rogers Hood. I was talking about other people's products and they wouldn't tell me what was in their natural ingredients. That's not acceptable anymore. I want to know what I'm putting in my body. I want to see it, I want to know it, I want to know you know it. And so it really was the force behind why I created Rogers Hood so that I could have full control, give full transparency to my community, and no one would ever question because I can just provide. And that's what all companies should run, in my opinion. And so we really have honed in on all of the things to set an example of how you, as someone who is first diving into this world, has an understanding of how you consume products and what you're consuming, because it's very important. You're on this journey of self-care and self-healing, but I don't want to take something that has an adverse reaction because I didn't inquire about what was in the product. Sure.
SPEAKER_02And in at your apothecary, you have all sorts of products. Yeah, the worms are just a piece of it.
SPEAKER_01You've expanded the Terrify Kit is the first OG, and it's we're the original cleansing kit. Okay. So we're not the original parasite cleanse, we're the original cleansing kit. Nothing else was kitted up before I came along. Everything was like, oh, you gotta buy this, you gotta buy this. And now other companies that had you gotta buy this, you gotta buy this, they've kitted up. And so we're the first cleansing kit. But I came to the conclusion of all of the issues I've had. So
Mold Lyme Lymph And Mushroom Support
SPEAKER_01I went through this journey with the worms for 2021 to 2022. And then I actually paused taking the Paraphy kit. And when I did that, my eyes swelled shut and I lost half my hair, which I was like, what is happening now? Like, how is this happening? And so I found out we were living in mold in our travel trailer. Okay. And so when you take wormwood, just a just a really great tip, you suppress the colonization of the mold inside of your body. And the that's great if you're trying to move through mold poisoning. But if you don't know you're in mold and you get off of a parasite cleanse and all of a sudden you get really ill, you should look around your house for mold. You can also go on gotmold.com. They sell air mold tests, which I love them. They're like 250 bucks for three rooms. And so I was able to determine exactly what mold was in what was in my house. I got a blood test and I found out that I had like high levels, should be hospitalized mold in my body. And so it was great the wormwood suppressed it. Now I know I lived with mold, and my mom actually gave me mold uh when I was born. And then I was brought into mold in the Santa Barbara officer's house that my parents lived in. So I've been around mold most of my life, which is also a magnet to Lyme, but for some reason, they all have this frequency and they like to hang out together. So now going back, I know that. But anyway, so I created a mold kit. So I have a mold kit that's easy, just like my parasite cleanse. It's three tinctures and a binder, and we clued instructions. And then I found out I had lime and I started researching exactly what continues to keep lime in the body and how to move lime out. And one of the ways is moving your lymphatic system with herbs. And so I helped my body by using lion's mane and turkey tail and cat's claw and holy skull to calm my nervous system because they've hijacked your nervous system by embedding their code in you. And so I created a lymph kit because you gotta get your three Ps under control, making sure you're peeing, pooping, and perspiring. And those pathways are really important and they're really hard to do when you have these environmental toxins in your body. So I created a kit you can take a couple of weeks prior to the Paraphy kit to help open up your pathways, get your brain fog under control, get your immune system back online. Turkey tail helps with that. I started researching even more about lion's mane. It helped save my brain. I took it with turkey tail, ammonita, psilocybin, and myataki, and it really helped protect my brain while I was getting off of Big Pharma. And so I really wanted to introduce that to people who are wanting the knowledge of what mushrooms can do, but kind of afraid to seek it because of the stigma that's been put around them. And so I created it so that you can have less brain fog, but also it helps rewire the neurons that are misfiring. Like it has shown scientifically under microscopes, when you add lion's mane to neurons that are misfiring, it shows how they start to regrow themselves. And so that's a lot of our problem is that we don't really have that support and healing in order to get us through a cleanse and a detox. And so I really took that to heart after a few years of listening to the community. So I created the lymph kit, which is amazing and almost competing with the number one with the paraphy kit. So, and then I have like the fulvic soap, which worms came out of the bottom of my feet on film when I did the fulvic soak. And then we've got some other mushroom tinctures like Red Artist. All of them are just functional mushrooms, but things that you wouldn't really think about taking unless you had come into our apothecary.
Heavy Metals Biofilm And Binding
SPEAKER_02Okay. Tell us a little bit about heavy metals.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah. Heavy metals are real, especially when you're eating fish, because the fish absorb like everything, right? That's the problem with a lot of seafood, is they absorb everything. And so when you have heavy metals in your body, they weight down parasites. And the parasite can hold six to eight times their weight in heavy metals, spores, viruses, bacteria, other worms, eggs. I mean, and they live in a biofilm. And so you got to break that biofilm. And when you do that, you really got to do it in a strategic way. And that's what the herbs do in the paraphy kit. So cilantro is what we use to help remove the heavy metals that might be weighting down these environmental toxins like worms, physical worms, but also things live in a Another biofilm, even inside of that biofilm in the mucus. So literally it's just weighting everything down. So as soon as you release that heavy metal, it's releasing them and they're free-floating now, right? So you've just burned their house down, the biofilm, and now you've released what's weighting them down. And now you got to come in and strategically start to move with herbs, removing them so your body doesn't reabsorb them.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_01And I and I know from my own personal experience how well this does work, the system that I'm talking about, because I actually had Epstein Bar virus, but I did not have Epstein Bar virus growing up. I actually had my spinal fluid tested and it came back negative for EBV, and your spinal fluid really does tell a lot about your body and it came back negative. So, oh yeah, you're clear. Well, after I didn't deworm correctly, I tested positive for Epstein Bar virus, which yeah, I could have caught it from the time that I had gotten from, you know, my spinal tap to where I dewormed. But the logic for me is I just killed something that physically was holding it inside of its body, making it a negative test. And now all of a sudden I killed that off and it dumped it in my body, and my body was rearing up because my immune system was already so diminished from the fact that when you have these environmental toxins, they're literally running in front of your immune system holding a mirror. And so your immune system's like, oh, I'm fine. What are you talking about? I'm fine all the while. All these symptoms behind that mirror are happening. Then you bring in something like wormwood and Oregon grape root and you kill them off. You shattered that mirror and your body responds, but it's so weak because you haven't been giving it because it's malnourished, because they still are nutrients. It doesn't absorb because it causes you to have malabsorption. And so you're running wild, and your body is doing all the things to react to it, but it doesn't even know where to start. And so that's where you bring in the herbs strategically, like compounding medications. You're compounding the herbs so that heavy metals, you're going in and you're helping move out eggs with clove and garlic, and you're going in and you're helping your body with any sort of pain so that that energy of the pain is not being given to the pain and that energy is being given to your liver. If you have liver flukes, it's starting to kind of go in there with burdock root and help navigate what the liver needs to help with healing. Like you have to do it in a strategic way. And then at the end of it, you need to bind. And binding is really important. It's something that is missed with synthetics, it's something that is missed with just a random antiparasitic on Amazon. Binding is something like C-lon cinnamon and coconut activated charcoal, which are binders called cinnamon, and it acts like a magnet to positively charged herbs. So charcoal is negatively charged and toxins are positively charged. And so it helps move them out of your body so that they don't come out your skin, they don't come out your eyes, your nose, but they also don't get reabsorbed back into your body. And that's what happened to me. Okay.
SPEAKER_02So if someone wanted to reach out to you or find your apothecary, tell us how they would do that.
SPEAKER_01You
How To Start A Cleanse Safely
SPEAKER_01can find me on rogershood.com. That's R-O-G-E-R-S-H-O-O-D.com. You can also find me on all platforms for social media. I'm Mrs. Rogers Hood on Instagram, I'm Mrs. Rogers dot hood. And then I have my own podcast. It's what's eating you with the letter U on all streaming platforms. And you can also Google me, Kim Rogers the Worm Queen, and I will come up everywhere.
SPEAKER_02So if someone wanted to order something from Rogers Hood, is that something that you have consultants that would help someone if they had questions? Nope, you can just order it. You okay.
SPEAKER_01But that's what if they needed help. Yes. Okay. Yeah. That's probably why I'm so censored because they, you know, I'm just like, yeah, buy it. But I have practitioners in my Link Tree. I have practitioners you can speak with. I have ebooks that are free you can download. The one that I really like is the fast track guide. So it kind of gets you up to speed. I have different lymph drainage books that you can read. I I think we've got 10. I mean, I have over a thousand pages of knowledge that you can read. I have Facebook groups you can join. So you have a community, but everybody that I have vetted, I've used personally as well that are inside of my community. And so you're not alone. I mean, that's really what the most important thing is, is that you don't have to go through this journey by yourself if you're chronically ill or if you are struggling with parasites. But I do have a lot of practitioners that understand, love what we're doing, and will help navigate this for you.
SPEAKER_02Okay, great. Because I could understand how someone listening might be like, oh my gosh, I have all these horrible symptoms, but I don't know where to start. I don't know if it's heavy metals, if it's mold, if it's parasites, worms, whatever. So you there is a resource.
SPEAKER_01Yes. The place that I always recommend starting is just grab a paraphy kit. It's so easy. It's three tinctures and a binder. You do it three times a day for 30 days. And usually within a few days, you're like, I feel better. My inflammation is better. I might have lost a little bit of weight. My skin's starting to glow overall, my brain fog is calming down. Like within a few days of getting something in your body that helps the overgrowth so that you're absorbing those nutrients again, you will feel amazing. Right, usually it's right away, is what I hear. Okay.
SPEAKER_02So it's a 30-day cleanse and you ingest something third three times a day.
SPEAKER_01Correct. And it's okay. We recommend doing it three to four times a year, or if you have symptoms. Usually by the end of your 30 days, you're like, okay, I know what symptoms will be for me going forward that I need to do this. And then I give you around 45 days worth of product. And so you can take five to seven days over the full moon in between your every three months just to make it sustainable and if you're feeling good. Or you can complete the tinctures and do the whole 45 days if you want. But the reason why I made it 30 so everybody understands is because it is a lot for people in the general population to do something for more than 21 days. Right. So I want you to keep doing this. And so you and making it tangible for people is the goal, is to allow them to continue to feel like they can keep having sovereignty over their own health and advocate for themselves by having something in control. And for chronically ill people, that's huge for us. That's huge for us.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Well, Kim, thank you so much. Kim Rogers, the worm queen. So educational. And it's like drinking from a fire hydrant, learning about all this stuff. And the the way you talk about it, you know, it's it just comes off like it's just all right there. And I don't know how you do it all day long, to be honest. My third podcast today.
SPEAKER_00Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_01I love it. I love it. I can't, I can't see myself ever doing anything else because it really is important for us to have these options. Like my goal here is I want affordable, available, accurate testing or affordable, available, accurate cleansing. Yes. So if they're not gonna give me the first thing, then I'm gonna make sure I can at least provide the second thing for everybody. Right. Right.
SPEAKER_02Well, thank you so much for your time, Kim. I'm sure lots of people are gonna be helped by you. So thank you. Thanks for having me.
